Translating Keyboard Inputs
The AnyDesk app does not have the permission which is needed to control any selected application. If you are facing this problem, then you will have to launch the AnyDesk app as an administrator on the remotely controlled system. Customers that use the professional license can further go ahead and create a custom client. Both clients can set Permissions prior to or during a session. The incoming client is being viewed and controlled. Next to the session permissions available in the accept window on the incoming client and the session settings of the Main window of the outgoing client during session, standard permissions are set in the security tab of the settings for each client. We're currently working on it, but the timeline is not set for implementation. To stream audio when connecting to a Mac device, you will need to install the sound driver. If the remote devices are macOS 10.7/10.8 machines, you will need to manually install the sound driver, more details. In local networks, AnyDesk’s latency is imperceptible. When working on a remote desktop, it is essential that latency is minimized to not cause any delays. Therefore we developed an innovative new Codec to achieve the fastest remote desktop experience. The d3d renderer now supports 16 bpp colour depth as well and uses the same fallback mechanism. In some cases, AnyDesk did not transmit any image (black image) when the screen was rotated in Windows 7 with Aero enabled. The base64 password feature for anydesk: links did not work with all configurations.
For international users connecting from one language zone to another, AnyDesk has a feature for translating the keyboard layout.For example a user in Poland using a polish keyboard layout can connect to a machine in France which is using a french keyboard layout and work regardless of the different keyboard layouts.In most cases there is no need for user interaction with the keyboard setting. Only in some cases it is necessary to manually choose the keyboard translation mode.
Automatic
This setting enables 1:1 mode if the keyboard layouts on both machines partaking in the session are the same and enables translation mode if the keyboard layouts differ. The setting is automatically detecting keyboard layout changes of the operating system. If you encounter problems with certain programs, please try to select a keyboard mode manually.
1:1 mode
In 1:1 mode, all keys are mapped from the local to the remote keyboard based on their position. For example, the key q on a english keyboard (qwerty) will insert the character a if connected to a machine with a french keyboard layout (azerty). This mode is not feasible for office work but it can be useful when playing games which depend on the exact location of a key.
Auto-Translate Mode
When auto-translate mode is active, all keys will be transmitted to the remote side as if the local keyboard layout would be active on the remote side. This mode might cause problems with certain programs (for example video games), because these programs process the exact key position (scancode).
Keyboard Shortcuts
Note:
Keyboard shortcuts (e.g. copy/paste) have to be used with the keys that are valid on the remote device's operating system.For example copy on MacOS with CMD+C, but paste on Windows with CTRL+V.
AnyDesk can be controlled using several key combinations.
Hotkeys (Windows-only)
To invoke a command, hold the keys ctrl+alt+shift at the same time and then press one of the following keys:

For example, to log on to a remote machine you can simply press ctrl+alt+shift+del.
Mouse Shortcuts
Double clicking a monitor tab switches to full screen mode.

What is it?
You aren’t at the office. Your work PC is out of your reach, and you only have your laptop with you. Thanks to AnyDesk, you can remotely connect to your work PC and work on it as if you’re sitting in front of it. But imagine being able to print out a document on your work PC that you need, wherever you are in the world. It should be printed at the office instead of your local printer, right?

It’s quite simple. A virtual printer called AnyDesk Printer sends print jobs to your local printer.

Let’s go through a scenario: From the other side of the world, you’re viewing a PDF file on your work PC via AnyDesk. This is the file you want to print out. You click on the icon where you can choose from the different printers available. There you’ll find the AnyDesk printer. Once you choose it, you’ll see a window pop up on your local device: There’s an incoming print job. Now you have the following options: dismiss, meaning you automatically decline incoming print jobs, print using Window’s default printer or print using the specified printer. Simply choose a printer near you and your document will be there in no time!

For the next print jobs, you can choose if you want the settings to be applied automatically, so that it requires less clicks and it’s like you’re just working locally.

Remote Printing is available for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 and is introduced with version 5. Both sides of the AnyDesk connection need to support the feature (be on version 5). The driver only needs to be installed on the remote device.
